Cat 6 (Category 6)
Cat6 cables support data speeds up to 1 Gbps over 100 meters and up to 10 Gbps for shorter distances (up to 55 meters)
Cat 6A (Category 6A)
Cat6A supports 10 Gbps speeds over the full 100-meter distance, with better shielding to minimise alien crosstalk.
Cat 7 (Category 7)
Cat 7 cables support 10 Gbps speeds and are used in data centres, industrial setups, and areas with high EMI (Electromagnetic Interference).
